Twelve paintings from the decades when a group of artists in France stopped smoothing their pictures down in the studio and left the brushmarks where they fell. The selection runs from Morisot's Cradle of 1872 to Monet's Japanese footbridge at the end of the century, and takes in ballet, boating, rain and poppies on the way. The two Van Goghs and the Cézanne belong to what came immediately after. The twelve cards and envelopes arrive in a plain postal box with a folding lid, which can be re-closed and used to keep them in. These are the same cards we sell individually; the only difference is that they are not separately wrapped, and the pack costs less than buying the twelve on their own.
